Dear Li,
Congratulations on your M.A degree! I am sure that you have worked hard to obtain it. See, personally I cannot even bear to finish a book of literature, let alone do the work you have done in literary studies.
On an even more exciting note, I will be attending a conference in NYC next month. It would be great to meet you there. ALso, since I have never been to New York before, I think that I will also want to see interesting places around the city. Do you think you will have time to show me around?
