是可数，比如说 pianos，就表示（不同）种类的钢琴。但是，说play the violin, play the piano，是因为violin和piano都是乐器。弹奏乐器，play+the+乐器，是固定用法。相同情况如，play basketball，是体育活动时，直接用play+体育活动，也是固定用法。如，play ping-pang 等等。
