Last Wednesday i got off work earlier than usual.when i was watching tv,the telephone rang.It was Car,who wanted to speak my younger(年轻) brother Li Ming.I told him my brother had left here just an hour ago .I asked him to ring up again that night,but he said he would be flown back to London then.Carl said he telephoned to express his thanks for Li Ming's helping him improve his Chinese during his stay in China,added (补充说)that he could now speak Chinese well.At last he invited my brother and I to visit Britain one day.I gladly accepted his invitation (邀请) and promised to tell Li Ming as he had said.
